I’m Nick Escobedo a passionate web developer and family man who loves pizza. Speaking of pizza… I live downtown Chicago which happens to be one the greatest places to live for pizza lovers. Nickescobedo.com is a place to gather my thoughts on technology and other random things.
Early on I knew I would become involved in technology. I first started developing websites in middle school during the GeoCities era. After learning HTML and CSS I began learning Java. I studied Java throughout high school and college. In college I started dabbling in PHP.
Presently I’m working full time PHP web developer in the heart of Chicago. I’m learning about test driven design (TDD), SOLID programming principles, and how I can best work in a development team to bring the most value.
My code philosophy is to create code that other developers and myself enjoy updating.
Besides PHP I’ve created a few Android and C# apps.
My resume can be found here.
